Retiree

The value of the 7 advance pensions is equal to 7 times the net retirement pension, and the value of the instalment is calculated at 15% of the value of the net retirement pension.​​

  • The pensioner must have an actual service period of 25 years. Excluded from the period condition are those whose cause of service termination is referral to retirement or attainment of the age prescribed for leaving the service.
  • Those whose service was terminated before 1/7/2008 are required to have actual service of 20 years in government entities.
  • The salary to be combined should be for his work in the private sector.
  • Ministers, members of the National Assembly, the Municipal Council and the mayors.
  • Two years have passed since the service termination in the event of joining the employer whose service has ended therewith and who is entitled to a retirement pension.​


  • The insured shall be entitled to a retirement pension upon expiry of the contribution.
  • The contribution period after 1/1/2015 shall not be less than (24) full months. Exceptions to this condition are:
1. Events of termination of the contribution due to death, total invalidity, attaining the legal age for leaving the service, or upon attaining the age of (65).
2. Cases of contribution termination if the calculated service period reaches (30) actual years.
3. ​The disabled and the person charged with caring for a disabled person, provided that he is totally incapacitated according to the decision of the medical committee.



The financial remuneration is calculated in the amount equivalent to the salary on the basis of which the retirement pension is calculated for each year of contribution, up to a maximum of 18 years, and if the salary is less than KD 1000, it increases by KD 200 and does not exceed KD 1000.

 The remuneration increases in the event of retirement after the age of 55 for a man and after the age of 50 for a woman as follows:​

​Yes, it is permissible to add the allowance for a newborn child after retirement, provided that the number of children at the end of service does not exceed a maximum of 7, with the exception of the disabled child.​

​Yes, re-appointment in the government entity is permissible unless the last period of service has expired by referral to retirement, and the retirement pension shall be ceased immediately upon employment.​

Yes, the insured is entitled to a retirement pension according to the number of years of his service or 15 years of service, whichever is greater, provided that he is medically fit at the time of appointment, until the medical committee determines the percentage of invalidity. If his invalidity is proven to exceed (50%), the pension shall be re-settled by adding the period complementing the age of 60 to the length of his service.​


The application may be submitted during service or within a month from the date of retirement, provided that the periods to be conjoined are 3 months or multiples thereof, provided that the total nominal period to be conjoined during service shall not exceed a maximum of 5 years.​​

  • 15 years of calculated service and the age of 50 and over.
  • Health reasons and without the condition of age or period.


  • Death or total invalidity during the contribution or within two years from the date of contribution termination.
  • 20 years of contribution and the age of 55.
  • 15 years of contribution and the age of 60.
  •  Those who have attained the age of (60) can purchase a complementary period to 15 years of service, provided it does not exceed 7 years and a half.​​


Disabled person:

  • 15 years of service for man
  • 10 years of service for woman

The disability must be severe, moderate, and permanent.

Person in charge of caring for a person with a disability:

  • 20 years of service for the designated man
  • 15 years of service for the designated woman​
