Death Transaction
- Copy of:
- Death certificate.
- Certificate of Certification of Succession.
- Civil ID cards for all heirs.
- Birth certificates for all heirs.
- Appointment decision for children who work and not registered with PIFSS.
- A certificate of proof of the disability of one of the children over 26 years old, if any (medical report, certificate from the Public Authority for Disabled Affairs).
- Daughters' marriage contracts, divorce certificates, re-marriage notices, and court rulings deciding marriage or divorce, if any.
- Salary transfer certificate from the bank with the IBAN for the widow and adult children if they are entitled to a share in the deceased's pension.
- Salary transfer certificates with the IBAN for minor children by the guardian in case the guardianship is by other than the Public Authority for Minors Affairs with a Kuwaiti bank.
- A letter from the Public Authority for Minors Affairs stating that a file has been opened for the children in the event that there are minor children of the deceased under their guardianship.
- Certificate of proof of study for a son who has attained the age of 26 and is studying at a stage following the high school, and for those who have attained the age of (28) years, a certificate shall be attached indicating the beginning and end of the school year in which they attained that age.
- In the event of the death of a non-Kuwaiti pensioner, a copy of the ruling on guardianship for minor children shall be attached, provided that the executive form takes place in the Kuwaiti courts.
- In the event of the death of the pensioner and his inheritance is limited to a group of children, without stating the widow’s name, notify us of the widow's destiny, including death or divorce, with the attachment of the supporting document.
- Filling out the special forms when one of the heirs approaches PIFSS, where the forms are kept:
- A statement of the marital status of the heirs..
- Application for disbursement Form (201).
- A declaration that there are no children other than those mentioned in the Certification of Succession and a statement of whether there are children who deceased before the death of the insured or pensioner.
- Declaration of the dependence of the father or brothers / sisters on the deceased in the event of his life or not, with the attachment of the document indicating the dependence.
Documents required for the disbursement or re-payment of a suspended share of the family's pension
(For Divorce / Resignation / Minors attaining the age of 21 / Attainment of the age of 26/27/28)
- Divorce:
- Fill out a declaration form and application for a share to be disbursed or for a share to be repaid.
- A copy of:
- Civil ID.
- Certification of the recent divorce.
- Unmarried certificate for females from the age of 15.
- All marriage contracts, divorce certificates, re-marriage notices, if any, for first time disbursement, and court rulings delivered in this regard, and in the event of widowhood, the death certificate and the Certification of Succession shall be attached.
- General Medical Council letter / Medical Committee Secretariat letter / Disability Certificate in case of disability.
- Salary transfer certificate from the bank with the IBAN.
- Termination decision for resignation.
- Resignation:
- Fill out a declaration form and application for a share to be disbursed or for a share to be repaid.
- A copy of:
- Civil ID.
- Termination decision for resignation.
- Salary transfer certificate from the bank with the IBAN.
- Unmarried certificate for females from the age of 15.
- Minors attaining the age of 21:
- Fill out a declaration form and application for a share to be disbursed or for a share to be repaid.
- A copy of:
- Civil ID.
- Salary transfer certificate from the bank with the IBAN.
- Unmarried certificate for females from the age of 15.
- Letter from the Public Authority for Minors Affairs regarding the absence of guardianship status.
- Attainment of the age of 26/27/28:
- A copy of:
- Civil ID.
- General Medical Council letter / Medical Committee Secretariat letter / Disability certificate in case of disability.
- University degree for those who attained this age and are not working and not enrolled under Chapter 5, provided that it is certified by the competent authorities if it is from outside the State of Kuwait.
- Salary transfer certificate from the bank with the IBAN.
- Certificate of the end of the academic year during attaining the age of 28.
- A certificate proving the educational status upon attaining the age of 26/27/28.
- Declaration of educational, employment and health status upon attaining the age of 26/27/28.
The documents required for suspension or termination of the disbursement of a share of the family's pension
- Fill out the application form for suspension or termination of a share or pension.
- A copy of the civil ID.
- In case of work: appointment decision + recent salary certificate.
- In case of death: death certificate + Certification of Succession.
- In case of marriage: Marriage contract + application for marriage grant.
A request for one or two shares in advance from the family pension
- Fill out a disbursement application form.
- A copy of the civil ID.
- Unmarried certificate for females if the age is over 15.
- Note:
- In the event that the application is submitted through the attorney, a copy of the POA and a copy of the attorney’s Civil ID must be submitted.
Required Documents for Death Transaction
- Copy of death certificate (duly attested by the competent governmental authorities in the issuing country outside Kuwait and the embassy of the State of Kuwait).
- Copy of limitation of succession (duly attested by the competent governmental authorities in the issuing country outside Kuwait and the embassy of the State of Kuwait).
- Copy of birth certificate or age assessment certificate for the widow or her civil ID if she is more than (55 years old), or if she is non-Kuwaiti and even if she is not more than (55 years old).
- Copy of children birth certificates (males and females) and verification of disability certificate (in case of handicapped child).
- Copy of salary certificates for the working sons if they are not registered with the Public Institution for Social Security.
- Verification of disability certificate for the sons who are above 26 years, if any (medical report, certificate from Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor)
- A certificate showing the widow’s (woman) account number in one of the Kuwaiti banks including the IBAN.
- Copy of nationality certificate for a Kuwaiti widow (woman) or passport or civil ID for the non-Kuwaitis.
- Certificates on the account numbers including the IBAN of adult children if they are eligible to a certain share in the deceased pension in addition to certificates on account numbers of the minor children form the guardian’s side if the guardianship is for a person other than the Public Authority for Minors Affairs.
- A letter from the Public Authority for Minors Affairs stating that they established a file in case the deceased had minor children.
- Copy of death certificate and limitation of succession upon the death of any beneficiary, or a written declaration by the heirs stating that they have not submitted a request for limitation of succession.
- Copies of marriage contracts for daughters or divorce certificates as well as the verification certificates and court judgments that rules by marriage or divorce (if any).
- Full family address and telephone number.
- Verification of study certificate for the son above 26 years who studies in a post-secondary school stage indicating the academic year’s start and end dates when he reached the age of 26, 27, 28.
- A copy of Civil ID card for all eligible persons.
- In case of death of a non-Kuwaiti pensioner, the guardianship judgment on the minor children should be attached provided that it should be accompanied with the executive form of the courts of Kuwait.
- Completing the prepared forms during any follow-up by one of the heirs and which are available with the Public Institution for Social Security, namely:
- Statement of heirs’ social status.
- Payment application on Form (201).
- A declaration on the non-existence of any children other than those mentioned in the limitation of succession in addition to indicating whether there were children who died before the death of insured or pensioner.
- Confirmation of the dependence of the father or brothers/ sisters on the deceased during his life.
Required Documents for Reimbursement of a Suspended Share (Divorce/ Resignation/ Reaching the Age of 26 years/Reaching the Age of 21 years for Minors)
- Filling out the application form for disbursement and reimbursement of a share.
- Copy of all marriage contracts, divorce certificates, verification certificates (if any) for first time disbursement and court judgments issued for that.
In case of widowhood, the death certificate and limitation of succession shall be attached.
- Last divorce certificate.
- No marriage certificate for females from the age of 15 years.
- Medical report/disability certificate for the medical condition.
- Verification certificate for educational status for reaching the age of 26, 27, 28 years.
- If the person who is not working and reached the age of 26 and 27 years has obtained a university degree, a copy of the certificate, attested by the competent authorities if it is from outside the State of Kuwait, shall be attached.
- Copy of civil ID.
- Bank certificate with IBAN.
- Copy of service termination decision for resignation.
- Copy of the General Medical Council letter/ the medical committee secretariat letter/ disability certificate.
- Certificate of end of the academic year during which the age of 28 years is reached.
Required Documents for Share Suspension or Share Disbursement Termination
- Filling out application form for share or salary suspension or termination.
- In case of working: appointment decision + recent salary certificate.
- In case of death: death certificate + limitation of succession.
- In case of marriage: marriage contract.
Required Documents for Disbursement of Marriage Grant
- Filling out application form for disbursement of marriage grant.
- Marriage contract.
- IBAN certificate in the event of changing the disbursement entity.
