-  The insured who is subject to the provisions of Section III of the Social Security Law may request the combination of the service periods calculated in accordance with the provisions of the Military Pensions and Retirement Compensation Law.

-  The combination of the periods for which the retirement compensation have been paid is dependent upon the condition of submitting the application for combination and returning the compensation either in one payment or by installments without any interest thereon.

- If the service of the insured ends for the reasons mentioned in Item 6 of Article 17 of the Social Security Law before he reaches the age of fifty, it shall not be calculated within the period qualifying for entitlement to pension from the joined period, except for the actual service period.

   However, the joined period shall be calculated in its entirety if its calculation shall result in the pension being due, provided that pension is paid in such event only from the date of attaining the age of fifty or from the date of death or total disability before attaining the said age. As an exclusion, the insured may, upon the end of service, request the payment of the pension. In such event, part of the pension calculated for the combination periods shall be returned to him in accordance with the provisions of the Military Pensions and Retirement Compensation Law.

- The beneficiary subject to the provisions of the Law No.69 of 1980 may join to the period calculated in this law the periods that are subject to the provisions of the said Section III.

-  The said periods shall be combined in accordance with the provisions set forth in the Resolution No.11 of 1981 concerning the joining of the service periods in accordance with the Military Pensions and Retirement Compensation Law to the participation period in the Section III Security of the Social Security Law and the joining of the latter periods to the first periods and the conditions of transfer of the reserves thereof.
